Help newcomers build a better first year abroad

Travel Abroad with Pawan (TAWP) builds systems—weekly plans, skill stacks, and confidence routines— so newcomers stop drifting and start building.

We’re a small, fast-moving business. We value clear writing, clean execution, and respect for real people.

Our mission

The first year abroad is expensive: time, money, identity, and confidence. Our mission is to make that year simpler by giving newcomers a structured operating system they can repeat.

We teach systems, not vibes

Weekly plans, templates, routines, and decision filters that work with real constraints.

We respect the audience

Clear language, transparent offers, and support that doesn’t talk down to people.

We measure what matters

Better onboarding, higher completion, better outcomes, cleaner operations.

How we work (values)

Clarity over noise

We write clearly, explain simply, and remove confusion wherever it shows up.

Proof over hype

We prefer examples, screenshots, and measurable improvements over claims.

Ownership over excuses

If something breaks, we fix the system, document it, and make it repeatable.

Speed with quality

We ship quickly, but we don’t ship sloppy. Clean work compounds.

How we hire

We keep hiring simple and transparent so you know what to expect.

  1. Short application: your background + why this role fits.
  2. Quick screen: 10–15 minutes to confirm alignment and availability.
  3. Practical task: small paid test project or work sample (role-dependent).
  4. Final conversation: expectations, timeline, and how you’ll be measured.

Accessibility note: if you need accommodations for the process, email travelabroadwithpawan@gmail.com. We’ll do our best to support you.

Open roles

We hire slowly and deliberately. If there are no roles listed today, join the talent pool below.

Content & Community Assistant (Part-time) Remote • Flexible hours

What you’ll do:

  • Turn ideas into posts, scripts, and short-form content that helps newcomers.
  • Support community replies with warmth, boundaries, and clarity.
  • Help organize content into a simple “newcomer library.”

What we’re looking for:

  • Clear writing in simple English (and Punjabi/Hindi is a plus if relevant).
  • Reliability: you do what you say you’ll do.
  • High empathy without being emotional or vague.

Nice to have: Canva, basic editing, Notion/Docs organization.

Operations & Automation Assistant (Contract) Remote • Project-based

What you’ll do:

  • Clean up and document basic processes (intake, email flows, follow-ups).
  • Improve reliability of tools (forms → CRM/sheets → email sequences).
  • Reduce manual work by building simple automations.

What we’re looking for:

  • Comfort with Zapier/Make, Google Sheets, and simple troubleshooting.
  • Systems thinking: you prevent problems, not just react to them.
  • Clear documentation and clean handoffs.

Nice to have: Netlify basics, simple JS, email tooling (ConvertKit/MailerLite etc.).

Note: roles and responsibilities may evolve as the business grows. We care most about outcomes, reliability, and integrity.

Join the talent pool (no role listed? still apply)

If you feel aligned with the mission, send an email with your strengths and what you want to own. When a role opens, we’ll search here first.

What to include

  • Your name, location/timezone, and availability.
  • The one area you want to own (content, ops, editing, community, design, etc.).
  • 1–3 links to proof-of-work (writing, portfolio, automations, videos, posts).
  • Why TAWP matters to you (short and real).

We read every serious application. If it’s a fit, we’ll reply with next steps.
